On Android, Gym+ has five widgets for your phone's home screen. They show your training at a glance, and a tap on any of them opens the app.
Before you start
- Widgets are Android only. On an iPhone, this section does not show in settings.
Step by step
On the Home screen, tap the settings button at the top, next to search. You can also get there from the Profile tab, under Settings.
Scroll to the Home screen section.
Tap the widget you want: Add activity widget (six months of training, day by day), Add stats widget (workouts this week, weekly goal and streak), Add muscle map widget (the muscles trained in the last 7 days), Add today widget (today's workout, planned or done) or Add week widget (the days you trained this week and your goal).
Android asks whether you want to add the widget. Confirm and, if you like, drag it somewhere else on the screen.
Tap the widget whenever you want to open Gym+.
Common problems
- The message "Add it from your launcher's widget menu" appeared
- Your phone does not let the app add the widget directly. Touch and hold an empty spot on the home screen, open the widget menu and look for Gym+.
- The widget says "Open Gym+ to see your progress"
- The widget has not been drawn yet. Open Gym+ once and it fills in.
- The widget shows old data
- Widgets update when the app opens. Open Gym+ and go back to the home screen.
Open in the app
In Gym+, tap the question mark on the Home screen to open the Help Center and search for “Widgets”. The Open now button takes you straight to the screen.
