How to log your gym visits

Check in at the gym with a selfie taken on the spot, follow your streak and choose who sees your photos.

Works on
  • iPhone
  • Android

Each trip to the gym becomes a check-in with a selfie of you, taken on the spot. Gym+ recognizes the gym, keeps the photo on your year map and counts your streak of days.

Before you start

Step by step

  1. Open My visits: in Profile, tap Ranking, open the Visits tab and tap My visits. You can also search for Check-in on the Home screen.

  2. Once you are at the gym, tap Check in at the gym. Gym+ reads where you are once, recognizes the gym and drops the reading.

  3. Take the photo with you in it: a selfie with the gym behind you, or a mirror photo with the back camera. Only a photo taken there counts; there is no gallery.

  4. Check the card with your workout numbers and tap Confirm check-in.

  5. In My visits, follow your visits of the year, your Days in a row, your Best run, the Year map and your Photos.

  6. To choose who sees your photos, tap the eye icon at the top of the screen and pick Friends, Nobody or Everyone.

Common problems

The app says I am not at one of my gyms
A check-in is done at the gym, on the spot. In Ranking settings, check that the right gym is under My gym and that Gym+ has your precise location.
I cannot check in again today
One check-in counts per gym each day. You can check in again tomorrow.
I have no signal
The check-in is saved on your phone and goes up on its own as soon as there is a connection.

Open in the app

In Gym+, tap the question mark on the Home screen to open the Help Center and search for “Gym visits”. The Open now button takes you straight to the screen.
