Erasing this device's data clears what Gym+ saved on this phone: workouts, photos and preferences. Your account and what is on the server stay as they are. Deleting the account is a different path.
Before you start
- Make a backup first if you want to keep what is on the phone. See How to back up and import your data.
Step by step
On the Profile tab, tap Settings.
Scroll to the Privacy and data section.
Tap Erase this device’s data, the last option in the list.
Read the notice and tap Erase from this device to confirm.
When it is done, Gym+ shows the message This device’s data was erased.
Common problems
- I want to delete my account, not only the phone's data
- Use Delete account, in Profile, under Account & subscription. See How to delete your Gym+ account.
- I erased the data and want my history back
- Import a backup you exported before. If the history in your account was on, the account copy is still on the server. See How to keep your history in your account.
Open in the app
In Gym+, tap the question mark on the Home screen to open the Help Center and search for “Erasing data”. The Open now button takes you straight to the screen.
