Your progress photos live on the Timeline, in three poses: front, side and back. With the same pose on two different days, you compare before and after side by side. The Your photos gallery keeps anything you want to remember from the gym, such as the whiteboard or a plate setup.
Step by step
On the Progress tab, tap the Timeline card. Before your first photo, tap Take your first progress photo on the getting started card of the same tab.
Tap Add today's photos and choose the pose. Then tap Take a photo or Choose from gallery.
To complete a day, tap the empty slot of a pose on that day. Tap a photo to see it larger, or press and hold it to delete it.
Under Remind me, choose how many days apart Gym+ reminds you of the next photo, or Never.
With the same pose on two different days, tap Compare. Choose the pose and the Before and After days. To send the comparison to someone, tap Share.
For the gallery, open the Profile tab and tap Photos. Tap Take one to shoot right away or to pick several photos from your gallery at once.
Common problems
- The Compare button does not show
- Shoot the same pose on two different days to compare the photos.
- I cannot take a screenshot of my photos
- That is on purpose. The photo screens are kept out of screenshots, recordings and the recent apps thumbnail, to protect your privacy.
Open in the app
In Gym+, tap the question mark on the Home screen to open the Help Center and search for “Photos and timeline”. The Open now button takes you straight to the screen.
